Question: Since receiving Holy Communion is important, how about those who cannot receive daily communion for various personal or church reasons?

Spiritual Communion

Meaning: Pray the Act of Spiritual Communion. The prayer is as follows:

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

Question: Is Spiritual communion the same as receiving you sacramentally?

Ain’t nothing like the real thing

Question: What is it that receiving you sacramentally gives that spiritual communion can’t?

God’s answer:

Physical healing
Forgiveness of the sins of the flesh

Question: So what is the effect of Spiritual Communion instead of physical/sacramental communion?

God’s answer:

The spirit is willing but the body is weak

Question: So what’s the point to doing a spiritual communion if one is weak and the other strong?

God’s answer:

It’s better than nothing.

Question: What is the difference between the sins of the flesh (the physical body) and the sins of the transcendental body? How can we tell?

God’s answer:

Sins of the flesh: succumbing to the temptation of worldly desires.

Sins of the spirit: going against Me, your Father.

You cannot differentiate. They’re all the same to you.
I can tell them apart.

Meaning: As God said, we have two identities, the physical and the transcendental, functioning as one and the same person. They are interconnected. Chapter 22: The Final Chapter discusses this more in depth.
